Someone bring me some Microsoft, Coca cola and Disney IMMEDIATELY

Thanks for the link, Leigh. I watched parts one and two at a sitting. My daughter was there with me for the first, and if I'd been organised I could have keep track of the ongoing commentary between us in the same that you and Teemu did.

In the second episode I particularly like the way that Henry Miller (?) the former husband of Marilyn Monroe describes how the underlying sickness is not with individuals but with society as a whole.

Amazingly, the same ideas reverberate through Beyond Civilization by Daniel Quinn the book I'm currently reading. Some serious synchronicity shit going on here!

Want to form a tribe?

Hi Col, yes they did say that in the film - it was kinda the foundation of all else that was covered in the film. Linking propaganda, PR and psych theory

Yeah, I've been thinking recently that chat and tv seem kind of made for each other - I'm looking into ways of hooking the computer up to the telly to get this happening. That, a wireless mouse/keyboard and a stable table should do the trick.

I can't see why broadband/pay-tv providers haven't jumped on this yet.

By the way, that torches of freedom was just a big p.r scam (maybe they said that in the doco, didn't see it)
