I was reviewing some old work from 2005, and discovered the old Networked Learning presentation had never been made into a video! It had audio, it had slides, but was not a video! What was I thinking? So here it is, 3 years later as a video. Nice to see that these past 3 years I have been pretty consistent in my thinking.

Leigh, not sure if it’s just me but the audio was a bit slow. I thought you had a southern drawl to begin with! For me, this was a highly influential presentation of yours that I caught early in my online development and I’d love to be able to use a version that features your voice as it naturally occurs. Also interesting to note that several other people have “hijacked” some of your ideas in recent times – the name of one I’m thinking of just escapes my brain for the moment – but your concepts here ring true today even with advances in social media tools.

Thanks Graham, nice to know you still read my blog 🙂 thanks.. I’m slowly coming back into the network I think. The Wikieducator project along with a lot of hard work at Otago has seen me a bit absent I think.
The slow drawl, yeah I know. It was my lame attempt to be creative. If I find some time, I’ll make a recording with a good ol Australian twang 🙂 Thanks for the feedback.
